I've found Brocolli is the lesser evil of the green vegetable family. I can eat it with ranch dressing or cheese on it. Peas and Green Beans are evil though!
My grandma, who lives in Arizona, grows things as well. Last time I visited, I had homegrown baby tomatoes, and they were yummy!
I grew up on broccoli and cheese, so I don't mind it. What I never tasted growing up was spinach. I tried it recently--I can't eat that by itself! Such a weird taste and texture....
I'm jealous of the homegrown-ness. I can't grow anything out here in Wyoming! Even the flowers I bought died lol

ReplyDeletePeas and green beans are yummy!
ReplyDeleteHaven't planted the beans yet...
It keeps raining so Daddy hasn't had a chance to get the big garden done....
We'll have corn, squash, beans, tomatoes, and god knows what else growing out there.
Holy cow, that's huge!

We have Spinach out there... I think. :)
ReplyDeleteThe parents grow things, I don't. I kill without meaning to. :)
